You must meet the following criteria for a Reverse Mortgage:
- 62 years of age or older
- Own your property
- The home must be your primary residence
- Consult with an approved HECM counselor
How much can I borrow ?
The amount that can be borrowed is based on the following factors:
- Age of youngest borrower
- Current rate
- FHA insurance limit or appraised value of home (whichever is lower)
Financial Requirements
- No income requirements
- No credit requirments
- FICO is irrelevant
- Pay no monthly mortgage payments
- Closing costs can be financed within the mortgage
